Implementation Challenges in International Small Cap
High returns have propelled strong demand for international small-cap mandates in the past few years, but have also created capacity constraints in this asset class. Based on results from our recent survey of institutional investment managers, we discuss the current market structure, extent of product closures, typical asset levels for closure, key factors to determine managers' decisions or policies to close, as well as implications for institutional investors' further deployment of assets into international small cap. |
