E. Lee Giovannetti
President and CEO, InterSec Research LLC

Lee currently serves as the President of InterSec Research LLC and is a shareholder of CSG Holdings LLC. Prior to his position with InterSec, Lee served as the chief executive officer of CSG Holdings, LLC (CSG Holdings) and managed the growth strategies of the CSG Holdings’ family of companies. Lee's specialization and expertise include manager and research development of alternative investment strategies for both institutional and private clients.

Lee began his career in the investment business in 1978 with Merrill Lynch & Company. Prior to his co-founding and formation of CSG in 1988, Lee worked for E.F. Hutton as a vice president in its consulting division. During his tenure with E.F. Hutton, Lee and several colleagues recognized the unfulfilled needs of tax advantaged funds, a growing sector of the financial community. In April, 1983, a special group of EFH, Memphis, known as Consulting Services Division (CSD) was formed and served as a model division for EFH’s efforts to service this growing sector of the market.

In January 1988, Lee and other CSD employees departed EFH to form CSG, a wholly owned subsidiary of Furman-Selz Inc. and a member of the Xerox Financial Services Family. Consulting Services Group, LLC, a full-service consulting firm, was formed in June 1990 as part of a transaction that allowed the CSG employees to acquire the firm from Furman.

Lee received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee. Lee currently serves on the Bridges Philanthropy Council, the board of directors for Bridges, Inc., Emanuel Episcopal Center, the Shelby County Drug Court Foundation of Memphis and Trivantis Corporation. Lee is a past president of both the Memphis Touchdown Club and Christian Brothers Hall of Fame. Lee is also a past board member for the Promise Academy Charter School, St. Agnes Academy-St. Dominic School, the Liberty Bowl Festival Association and Memphis Oral School of the Deaf.
